This is your chance to own one of the vintage gas lamp fixtures from Hodges Park! The lamp post would make a lovely statement in front of someone’s home! Run a gas line to the fixture, retrofit it for electricity, or install it as a purely decorative piece...the choice is yours.
Tickets are on sale Monday, November 23 through noon Monday, December 14. Tickets are available online only at www.prfriendsoftheparks.org. Winner will be drawn on Facebook Live on the Park Ridge Friends of the Parks Facebook page at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 14. Only 100 raffle tickets will be sold! Winner will need to pick up the lamp post at Oakton Park.
All proceeds will support fundraising efforts to build an Outdoor Nature Classroom at Main Park.

The Seller, Park Ridge Friends of the Parks, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Park Ridge Friends of the Parks neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale or donation of the identified equipment.
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Seller is neither a manufacturer nor a vendor of such equipment, that Buyer takes the equipment and each part thereof “as-is” with all faults and that seller has not made, and does not hereby make, any representation, warranty, or covenant, express or implied, with respect to the merchantability, condition, quality, durability, design, compliance with safety standards and/or industry guidelines, operation, fitness for use, or suitability of the equipment in any respect whatsoever or in connection with or for the purposes and uses of buyer, or as to the absence of latent or other defects whether or not discoverable, or as to the absence of any infringement of any patent, trademark or copyright, or as to any obligation based on strict liability in tort or any other representation, warranty, or covenant of any kind or character, express or implied, with respect thereto, it being agreed that all risks incident thereto are to be borne by the Buyer and Seller shall not be obligated or liable for actual, incidental, consequential, or other damages of or to the Buyer or other person or entity arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the equipment and the maintenance thereof. Buyer acknowledges that Buyer has selected the equipment Buyer is purchasing from Seller based on Buyer’s own judgment and Buyer hereby affirmatively disclaims reliance on any oral representation concerning the equipment made to Buyer.
The Buyer further agrees to indemnify, save, protect, hold harmless and defend the Park Ridge Friends of the Parks, Park Ridge Park District, and its officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, penalties, or liabilities resulting from injuries, damages and/or losses arising out of, connected with, or in any other way associated with this agreement and the purchase/receipt/use of the below identified equipment.
