Commemorative trees, planted in Park Ridge parks, are available for a donation of $750, which includes the tree and a 6”x9” oval bronze plaque. Tree planting and ongoing maintenance costs are paid by the Park Ridge Park District. Tree selection and planting locations are chosen based on species, topography, soil condition, light exposure, and appropriateness for placement in the preferred park. These factors are determined by the Park Ridge Park District staff to ensure that the commemorative tree will continue to thrive for many years to come. The Park Ridge Friends of the Parks guarantees the health of the tree for three years following the initial planting of the tree.
Tree purchases can be made at any time, and planting occur in the fall.
